My love for genealogy came from listening to the stories from my father and aunts Florence, Leona, and Theressa. I could listen to their stories about my uncles who were in the wars, and about their life growing up on a farm all day long. Then my aunt Florence shared her hand written records of our family history and I started entering into several trees on Ancestry. That was 10 years ago. I still actively work on my trees, and recently submitted my dna. Much of my information has come from findagrave, a most wonderful page. I am hoping to take over managing pages for some of my relatives and have created a few memorials of my own.
