I've been a member of Findagrave since early 2018 and a casual user for a while before that. I recently retired and decided to try satisfying some photo requests for the cemetery where my mom is buried, Evergreen-Washelli in Seattle. As I'm doing that, I will sometimes check the graves surrounding the object of the photo request and I've been shocked at how few had memorials. I've decided to do what I can to document as many graves as possible. This cemetery is mammoth and no one person can do it on their own. If you're interested in helping me by adopting a section, please let me know. I'm currently working on Evergreen Section 20 and I've done many in Evergreen Section 12 so will probably go back to that one when I'm finished with 20.

If I manage a memorial for one of your friends or relatives, please feel free to request a transfer using the normal process through the 'Suggest Edits' page. I'm not really excited about managing memorials for non-family members myself so will happily give it up. I do prefer to transfer to someone that has a connection to the deceased.
