I have been fascinated by genealogy for much of my life thanks to my father's work to research/draw/paint a (fully verified by the College of Arms) tree on my grandmother's side going back to 1100.

For much of the past decade I have been trying to trace both sides of my wife's family in Russia/Poland but have hit many stumbling blocks related to unpleasant events in Germany during WWII... oh, that and my Hebrew/Yiddish/Polish/Russian language skills are practically non existent!
