Bio

I am a daughter, wife, mother, and now a grandmother! My family means the world to me! They each one are very special and unique in their own way, giving them a wonderful story to tell and pass on to future generations.
I have spent some time in libraries, museums, cemeteries and county court houses collecting family information, however, not nearly enough time! The older I get, the more I desire to know.
I want to know what type of “foundation” was laid before me, what legacies and traditions that have been passed down.
I know that a solid belief in the Lord God has made a difference in the life of many family members. My grandfather, Ray Ord Marks was a minister who helped “plant” many churches in the state of Oregon. Growing up near him and seeing his testimony, along with that of my own parents, Edward Paul and Merrita Blanch (Mullins) Marks, has had a lasting impact in my life, one that I have the privilege to pass on to my children and grandchildren.
Family surnames include Marks, Briggs, Dean, Mullins, McVay, Caparoon, and many others. Any information is welcome.
