Bio

I have been doing family research for a couple decades now, but strictly focused on my own family trees. However, recently, I've become interested in also helping others gather their own research, so I've taken up photographing headstones through FAG as a volunteer in my area. I have had others help me out, now I think I need to pass it on!

So far, many of the memorials I have created have been my own relatives, however, through managing photo requests, I've begun to add missing memorials that I find at many cemeteries I visit as well.

I am now focusing on creating cemetery sites for all Evangelical Lutheran Cemeteries located in Lithuania. I will be adding as many memorials as possible through the use of death records, as most of the German cemeteries were destroyed by the Russian Army in 1945. If you have German ancestors from Lithuania, please contact me.

If you have edits or want a transfer of a memorial, please just ask. I do insist on doing a bit of research to follow-up on edits though, to ensure they are accurate and the correct people. If you request an edit, please try to provide your source.

My contributed headstone photos can be used without further permission. No attribution necessary.

As this is Eastern Ontario, Canada, I will only be taking photos from April through November.
