Find a Grave ID

Bio

All I can say about myself that really matters, is that I LOVE genealogy and doing my very best to help others.

Most of my time at cemeteries is uploading GPS coordinates. The priority for me is to find old gravestones that the earth is reclaiming, and military. With that being said, for those of you who upload coordinates, PLEASE glance at your map while you're still standing at the gravestone to make sure it puts the coordinates at THAT grave. I see a ton of them across the road, and even literally hundreds of feet away from where the grave actually is. Keep in mind the weather greatly affects accuracy, so doing it on a really cloudy day and having them show the wrong spot doesn't help anyone.

I do not watch the obituaries, and I don't race to do memorials. If I stumble upon a grave that doesn't have a memorial, I will try to go ahead and add it (if it's not new) so you can at least have a photo/GPS coordinates and see where it's at in the cemetery. If it's not my family, I will only add what's on the stone. It saves a lot of headache on both sides of the fence. If something needs added, contact me thru suggested edits and tell me your relationship. I will not accept conflicting information copied from someone's tree. This has happened to members of my own dearly departed. People have added the memorial and went ahead and copied random info from distant relatives on Ancestry and others. It spreads like wildfire and THIS IS NOT RESEARCH! It's frustrating .

If I manage your loved one's memorial and you want it edited or transferred to you, use the edit buttons. My goal in this is to help you preserve history and I will help anyway I can!

God bless you!
