I started this genealogy journey in the late nineties by trying to get my mother's files into a program or at least some kind of order. What a challenge! It has been over twenty years now and I find it difficult to stop. There is always another challenge, another relative to find and add. and I am always looking for stories about the people rather than just names of the deceased.
