Born 1946 and grew up in Georgia, finished high school in 1964, Georgia Tech in 1968, spent 21 years in the Air Force in F-4 Phantoms and flight test, and retired to Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, in 1989. Went back to work for the USAF in 2001 as an Aerospace Engineer and am still working there with kids younger than some of my grandkids (Just retired in Jan 2022 - 21 years as civilian engineer for a grand total of 42 years federal service with the US Air Force).
