I have been involved in family history for several years. My parents had a tradition of visiting immediate ancestor graves in the area within 25 miles of our home, cleaning up the grave site and marker, and placing flowers - generally on the Sunday prior to Memorial Day. My wife and I have maintained the tradition. We have responded to a few gravestone photo requests, and plan on doing more in the future. I have been retired just over a year, as of July, 2018.
