I was dubbed the "Family Historian" by my Grandparents years ago. I've been researching my family's history since I was a child. As my loved ones pass away, their important belongings find their way to me. I'm also the one to receive and preserve the priceless heirlooms of my ancestors. The majority of these individuals were heavily discriminated against in life. The further one goes into the past, those ancestors were owned for some of their lives. Others, were in bondage for the entirety of their lives. Despite the circumstances, my ancestors survived and thrived! I stand on the shoulders of mighty souls, and without them, I would not exist. It's my duty to protect and honor them in every way possible. I take my job seriously. "Nothing about me, without me." is my philosophy towards researching my bloodlines.
