I have lived my entire life in Erie, Penna. and have inherited quite a tapestry of ancestors. Many of them were among the first settlers to Erie County, including: John & Mary CLARK, Andrew & Margaret (Clark) MARTIN, Nathan Montgomery & Susan (Freeman) MANLEY...Jacob & Sophia (Egner) CHARLES, James & Peggy (Smith) RONEY (later changed to ROONEY). And within outer lying areas: John D. & Catherine (Boring) ADAMS, Sterling & Priscilla (York) DOOLITTLE, Crean Bush & Polly (Bennett) CHAFFEE, Bennett & Lucina (Fox) FIELD....these all being from my mother's side.
