When we built our new home in 2005, in Webster County, KY, there was a very old cemetery in our yard. I was making inquiries to a friend who knew a lot about old cemeteries. Through her, I made contact with the great great granddaughter of the oldest ones buried in my cemetery. She gave me a copy of a picture of her great great grandparents, which had been copied from an old Tin Type picture. She also gave me their complete family tree with pictures. This gave me an interest in my own family tree. I have worked a lot on mine, but have also done family trees for many other people. When I start researching on one, I can't hardly stop to eat or sleep. There is just no stopping place. I am kin to most of the Dorris, Cullen & Melton families in Webster and Hopkins Counties.
