Born in Kansas City, Missouri in 1959, only son of John Robert Bray with wife Betty Ireland. Aspired to be an artist (BA in Studio Art, UMKC), eventually graduated (M-Div) from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Capital University, Columbus, Ohio and spent 1986 to 2018 as a minister in the ELCA. Medically retired since 2018 and now spend a little time almost every day on family history.
