Bio

I currently live in Springfield, Missouri, but I grew up in Western Colorado. My parents and siblings moved to Colorado before I was born, I am the only one from Colorado, but we all consider Colorado our home. My siblings and mom are from California, and my dad was born and raised in Arkansas, so I have connections to those states and Colorado. I have lived in Missouri for the majority of my adulthood. It is the 2nd longest place I have lived (my hometown being the longest place I have lived in one city)

I was a stay-at-home mom, volunteering at Maple Park Cemetery. At the time, I struggled to find work that could accommodate my disabilities (partially disabled). My volunteer work led to a job that was only a few hours a week but now is about 30 hours a week which is perfect for me. I still volunteer for findagrave.com. I am a member of Ozarks Genealogical Society and love studying genealogy. I have always found cemeteries as beautiful, and when I started exploring my family's genealogy, I discovered that they contain a wealth of genealogy records. Not just on the headstones, but at the cemetery office, and even in the placement of family members within a family plot.
