Hi! The majority of my family has been in Crawford and Mercer Counties since the early 1800s. I love history (I even have a B.A. in it) and love my hometown, Jamestown and her Pymatuning Lake. I was extremely lucky to grow up in a house with my sisters, parents, and my grandfather, Gordon Callen. I loved to hear him tell me about being born in 1896 and tales about his family stories.
About a year ago, I started to try to match some of his pictures with the graves of his family members. My grandparents left us a treasure trove in that house of letters, deeds, many pictures, and family Bibles. I love to hear from relatives and I enjoy this FREE site very much.
