Bio

I'm a retired geologist, born in Wisconsin and now living in California.
According to both Judeo-Christian scripture and mitochondrial DNA, we have a common origin -- which makes us all "cousins", some more distant than others. Recognizing that we are all cousins, couldn't we develop greater empathy for each other? And all the more, if we wish to honor our Creator?

"No one remembers the former generations, and even those yet to come
will not be remembered by those who follow them." - Ecclesiastes 1:11 (NIV)

Yes, SO many lives have come and gone with little tangible evidence [often not even a stone] to commemorate they were ever here!

Now that we're in the digital age, I think FindaGrave is a convenient platform we can use to honor the memories of those who have passed this way, by contributing a Memorial, a BIO, a photo [alas, those unlabeled photos!], or a link.
