I was born in Pasadena, Harris County. Texas, raised in Logansport, DeSoto Parish, Louisiana about a mile from the Texas state line. For the past 30+ years, I've been Chambers County, Texas, working in Harris County, Texas. I call home DeSoto Parish, but consider myself a Texan. My husband and I often visit old cemeteries on our travels, to admire the stones and wonder about the lives that have gone before us. And always leave the grounds, better that how we found them.

I see this as my "Pay in Forward" with the hopes, someone will do the same for my final resting place and memorial.
