I was born and grew up in Altoona, Pa. I moved to Richmond Va. 38 years ago. Genealogy family surnames on my father’s side are Chilcote, Fleck, Bollinger, Dell, Pheasant, Stapleton, Barnett, Dean, Hughes, Bumgarner, Newman. My mother’s side are Oswalt, Burge, McGonigal, Hoover, Butler, Troester, just to name a few from each of my parents. Genealogy detective work, going to graveyards, and trying to establish family links, is a passion I have and I feel is important to history. I enjoy the aspects of knowing who in my direct ancestry lived during historical moments in time. There are certain people in my direct line that I do not know their exact resting place, and am working to find where they may be. Any help would be appreciated.
