I am a retired U.S. Marine and have always been intrigued by my ancestral background because my mother constantly told me and my siblings that we were "Heinz 57." I also know very little about my father's side because I didn't meet him until until I was 24 and then had a 10-year hiatus with him due to living in Japan, California and Virginia. Since my retirement, I have delved further and further into my past and would like to continue going further.
