Both sides of my family have deep roots in Eastern Kentucky in Perry, Breathitt, Clay, & Lee counties, as well as others. I don't know a whole lot about my mom's side of the family, but my dad's side of the family have been in Perry County for a very long time, particularly between Hazard & Chavies in a little area known as Grapevine on Dock's branch.
