Bio

I have been studying genealogy for a number of years now, specifically among the Monroe, Elwyn, Littlehale, McLaury, Scollick, Henderson, and Sayre families. I enjoy doing research and learning more about my ancestors and relatives, their lives and stories, and the places they lived. I have family connections in Union County, N.M., Cimarron County, O.K., California, and Illinois, as well as Posey, Gibson, Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties in Indiana. My great-uncle, Kendyl Monroe, wrote a book called Small Worlds, a compilation of writings by members of the Monroe and Sayre families, namely, Helen K. Monroe, Marjory Nell Murray, Vera Sayre, Alice Monroe Thomas and Eunice Monroe Hurt, which got me interested in genealogy in the first place.

I am passionate about reuniting graves and properly structuring family trees. I am willing to transfer profiles to people who are of closer relation than me, and I hope that the research I'm doing is helpful to those wishing to learn more about their ancestors.

Note: some of my created profiles do not have cemetery details. This is because I am interested in getting the genealogical records and family connections correct, despite not always having this data (even if I may find the city or county in which the burial took place), and then adding the cemeteries as I get the info. Thus, I am more than happy to add any burial details anyone may have about such profiles.
