I was born in NNY and now live in Vermont. Since retiring from my career as an educator, I have become very interested in my family genealogy. I was fortunate enough to visit Scotland and Ireland two years ago and was able to go to the village where my paternal ancestors came from in the 1880s.

I travel back to my hometown, Harrisville, NY, several times a year. I am also a member of the Vermont French Canadian Genealogy Society located in Colchester, VT, and would be willing to search for records for others who are unable to visit the archives there.

Family names include Stevens, Shaw, and Scott. I'm hoping to correct any misinformation on the Nemo Stevens or Amy Shaw Stevens records. I'm also interested in tracking down members of my husband's family, Finnegan, who lived in Plattsburgh, NY.
