Major Robert Gamble built the Gamble Mansion - ca:1847 - which was the largest sugarcane plantation in south Florida in the 1850s.
I am the President of the Gamble Plantation Preservation Alliance, Inc. which is a 'Citizen Support Organization' for the Gamble Plantation Historic State Park in Ellenton, FL.
To increase our knowledge about Major Gamble, the mansion and his family, we are always seeking additional historical data and would appreciate anyone sharing information about the Gamble family.
