I have always enjoyed Genealogy and have recently joined ancestry.com to work on my various family trees. That is how I stumbled across Find a Grave. What a wonderful resource.
I have always loved cemeteries. To me they are a very peaceful place. I have also always been into photography so now this place offers me the ability to combine the two.
I live close by to Pine Grove Cemetery in Middletown CT. I am up there quite regularly as I have family members buried there and I also go there to get my walking in.
I believe family history is very important and the more resources that are there to help others in researching their families the better.
Aside from members of my family, if you come across a relative that I have added to the database and would like to take over their memorial feel free to contact me and I'd be happy to transfer it over.
