Bio

My family has a rich history and with a BA in History I find it enjoyable connecting the dots. I have found many of my relatives were originally from North Carolina and many served in the American and Civil Wars. It can get confusing at times making sure things are accurate but I hope my knowledge can help connect the dots for others interested in geneology.

I have English(Welsh),Irish and Dutch along with an amount of American Indian on my father's side. My mother's side is heavily German.

My mother's mother's parents and relatives are some of the earliest settlers of Henderson County, TN . Most of them came from North Carolina

My father's mother's father's family have a rich history going back to Declaration signer Thomas Lynch with Rachel Donelson being a distant cousin along the way on the paternal side. There is even a connection to the founding families of Tennessee Sevier family. They would find themselves settled heavily in Sumner and Davidson counties.

My father's father's father's parents were religious circuit riders in the 1800's. They eventually settled in Tennessee and parts of Kentucky. A rich history with them was made possible by Rev. Christenberry Lee who left a detailed account in Rutherford,NC newspapers.

My father's father's mother's parents have a foundation in Selmer Tennessee with an American Indian bloodline.

My father's mother's mother's family were early settlers of Houston,County TN.

I hope to find more information on my mother's father's family which involved adoption and will be interesting going down the rabbit hole with it as I get older.
