Bio

My mother started researching our family about 35 years ago and was a very early Emberton researcher. She was very successful with her research and I was closely involved with her in that research. About 5 years ago her she was diagnosed with dementia and is no longer capable of doing research. I am continuing her work.

I have put a lot of study into DNA and I'm the administrator for the Harp Surname project at Family Tree DNA. This is a strictly voluntary job and I do not work for FTDNA. I am currently developing a database for the DNA of all of my lines and have put most of my work into my Harp and Emberton lines for now. Since both of these surnames have relatively small populations, I believe it may be possible to determine the Y DNA of all people living with these surnames.
