Robert Edward Cook was born Jan.30,1956 in St. Catharines, Ontario

Son of Bertrum E. Cook and Jean J. Cook of St. Catharines

Cook Family Ancestry dates back to 1754 when John Cook Sr. of Germany came to North America to New York State. In 1781 he settled in Osnabruck Township, Stormont County, Ontario.
John Cook Sr. became a United Empire Loyalist.

Member of United Empire Loyalist Association of Canada and Lost Villages Society of Ontario.


The Lost Villages cemeteries are of great interest and importance to me and it's certain that more family related graves than we know about were lost due to Ontario Hydro's St. Lawrence River Power Project and the subsequent flooding of historic towns and cemeteries.
