Bio

I was born and live in Central Ohio, and got interested in this site, like so many others, through genealogy and researching my family history, and these memorials have (ironically?) helped bring some that history to life. History, in general, has always interested me and whenever I travel I try to make it to an old cemetery or two. Some of those I've found to be the most interesting and beautiful are Green Lawn (Columbus, OH) Oakland (Atlanta), Bonaventure (Savannah), Granary Burial Ground (Boston). I hope to make it to cemeteries in Connecticut, Philadelphia, and Mt. Holly, New Jersey so I can seek out some of my relatives' stones in person, but I am grateful whenever someone takes the time to honor a photo request or report a problem. I am happy whenever I can fulfill someone's photo request. Some of the memorials I create are of known relatives, but others are just done spontaneously, because of some detail that grabs me for some reason. I'd be honored to turn over memorials of relatives or "non-relatives" (we're all related, right?) to those more closely related.
