Bio

I'm optimistic about the future.

I served in the USMC 69-73. Received Christ as my Savior in 78. Went to Bible college 80-85 majoring in religious education and ministerial training (no degree). I worked as a corrections officer for the state of Ohio for seventeen years. I have an associate degree in Criminal Justice, Police Science. Was in an Ohio University R.N program for a year.

As a Christian my greatest interest has been in the Bible and Theology. I love nature and history. I like law and of necessity study government. I think that one consequence of the corporate church's mission to reach the lost is the establishment of righteousness in all governmental jurisdictions.

I am Wesleyan Arminian in theology and partial preterist post millenial in eschatology. My hermeneutic is the grammatical/historical method with no regard to the self proclaimed authority of Rome or the church fathers. In obedience to Peters admonition to be always ready to give an answer to any man who ask a reason for the hope that lies within me ,I have begun a study of presuppositional apologetics. That method developed by Cornelius Van Til and advanced by Greg Bahnsen which presupposes the existence of God and His revelation in an inspired infallible and inerrant Bible, I find to be a fascinating study.

I have also become convinced of the benefit of Classical Apologetics as taught by Dr. R.C.Sproul.

I am also interested in a study, in order to refute, the contemporary unbiblical religious cults and the other major world religions .This pursuit is a result not of any ill will but of obedience to God who loves the lost and has provided the blood atonement necessary for redemption.

I disagree with the proposition that there are many paths up the mountain leading to God. Faith in Jesus alone, faith in who He is and what He has done is the only way to be reconciled to a Holy God.

I believe the free enterprise system as described by the Austrian school of economics offers an honest, natural method for society to prosper. The alternatives are criminal, being fraudulent and crippling to economic growth and liberty.

I am a strict construction constitutionist (originalist). I've been a supporter of the John Birch Society since 93. I am a member of the JBS, the Oathkeepers and the Sons of Confederate Veterans and am in the process of applying for membership in the Society of the Sons of the American Revolution based on the service of three great grandfathers.
