Bio

Born in Picton. Married and moved away in 1981. Spent every summer at East Lake camping. Growing up I had many walks to the Cherry Valley Cemetery. I have 7 generations of family in that cemetery. My family are Ackerman, Bongard, Ostrander, Hudgin, Hughes, Hanna, Storring, Bigg, Howard, Fraser, Potter, Greatrix, Molyneux and more. My parents are now there. I want to share my family with others.
Over the years I have looked through cemetery transcription from the Archives of Ontario. Newspaper's through the Archives of Ontario and Canada. Using our inter library loan services.
I have photo copied 4 4inch binders full of birth, marriages and deaths.
Also with the Belleville library offering searching for $.
Napanee Historical Society offer searching as well. For $.
The County Library will also help with searching.
All the material I have is through me searching and paying for it. I hope this helps someone else.

I've been called the Queen of cemeteries. Do you like my crown ?

Your Opinion is your Opinion.
Your Perception is your Perception.
Do Not confuse them with Facts or Truths.

Covid-19 Pandemic: Everyone has been impacted. I have learned a few things. Loyalty (lack of), Emotional Heart Breaks.
Entitlement Complex Issue's. Gas Lighting.
What they say, true colours come through.
I kept a journal on my phone of my Covid-19 life. Thought it would make interesting reading for future generations.
My world will never be the same.
Genealogy keeps me going. Everyone adds to find-a-grave for the better for all of us. Thank you for sharing your families.

Note from a Mother to her children.
When you were born. You came with no instructions. All I knew was that I loved you.
I made some mistakes and for that, I am sorry. I was doing the best I could with what I knew.
Everything I did for you and still do, I did from love. You are my children, my life, my dreams. I will always love you. That is no farce.

I've come to realize that the only people I need in my life are the ones who need me in theirs even when I have nothing else to offer them but myself.

Grief is like living two lives.
One is where you pretend that everything is alright and the other is where your heart silently screams in pain.
Grief: The art of living after your heart is ripped out of your body.

The strength of a family,
Like the Strength of an army, is the Loyalty to each other.
Blood makes you related, Loyalty makes you family.

Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path.

The meaning of life is to find your gift.
The purpose of life is to give it away.
William Shakespeare.
