Hello, My newfound search for family history has led me here. For right now i am just working on the Parrish family line. My father is Kenneth Leland Parrish, he married Linda Ilene (Coward) Parrish. My Grandad was Raymond Leland Parrish. Raymond was married to Lois Nelle Parrish. My Great Grandad was Omer Parrish, he married Carrie Elizabeth (Mallow) Parrish. Omer brother Joe Parrish a d his wife Martha had two children Wilkie and Louise Parrish. Omers father was Rufus Marion Parrish his second wife (Omer mother) was Elyria Ledufsia Jones. Her father was John Newton Jones, he was a Sgt. In the Arkansas Infantry in the CSA. My Father has a book written by him and edited by a family member titled, Can't get all the coons up one tree, it's a account to of the Sgt's life I believe. Fixing to start reading it soon but it does mention Scotia and Irish decent. I'm trying to see how far back and possibly ly where in Ireland the Parrish family comes from, ot exactly where in Europe. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
