Bio

First challenged by a co-worker to prove I had ancestors in Florida before Statehood in 1845, I accepted the challenge. My maternal side first came to Florida during the 1st Spanish Period in 1762 and returned to GA at the end of the English Period as the 2nd Spanish began. The grandson returned in 1824 and their extended descendants have been in Florida ever since. I am 8th Gen and 5th Native born with a son and grandchildren born in Florida.

Most of the bio/info on my ancestors was part of the proof that I made for Florida Pioneer Descendants from 1985. A lot of my work is on www.fivay.org for Hernando and Pasco Co. Other proof is at the FSGS site online for Pioneers and the Ancient Records of Alachua Co. Clerk of Court online records.
