I started working on my family history in 1974 after a visit to Harrodsburg, Kentucky where several lines of my family immigrated after the close of the Revolutionary War. I was highly successful during that first visit in finding information available and obtaining the names and addresses a person connected with the historical society, who gave me names and addresses of other persons searching these families. I was hooked and over the years not longer have I thoroughly pursued the Kentucky connection but found lines of the families going back into Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York.
