Being raised largely by my grandparents, I spent much of my childhood visiting distant relatives, old houses, and long-forgotten cemeteries in rural South Carolina searching for insight into the lives of those who came before us.

My wife and I are blessed with two beautiful sons to carry on the family name. I very much look forward to passing on our family stories and legacy as they grow up.
