I am excited to return to the genealogy research community. I had begun my journey when I was about 12 years old, in Vernal, UT. Much of my family had passed or I had no connections with, as my father died when I was 8. I have since, found many connections and learned a great deal of history, that without Ancestry and Find A Grave I would not know. Recently, I have made leaps and bounds from the help of others throughout the Ancestry and Find A Grave communities. I served 10 years (1989-1999) Active Duty in the U.S. Navy. I am an AO2 (Aviation Ordnanceman Second Class Petty Officer). Currently, I am a veteran Law Enforcement Officer (since 2003) in Mississippi. Only in the last month (May 2016) did I find that I have strong roots in the south, to include Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Missouri and Tennessee. My journey has become more driven, to seek out more of these roots. You are encouraged to request transfers from me, especially if you have more information to add to the memorial. The only exception is if the person memorialized is in my family tree. The easiest way to facilitate a transfer is to use the edit tab on the memorial ("Suggest any other correction or addition") to make your request.
