Born June 18, 1938 in San Gabriel, CA (Los Angeles).
Moved from CA in 1945 to OK to AR to KY and then Tell City,IN, all within the space of a year. My parents bought a farm 2 miles South of Deer Creek Baptist Church, where I lived until I joined the Army in 1958. Aster Rd which we lived on, was called Deer Creek Road back then. I spent 4 years in the US Army Signal Corps, 3 years 2 mos in what was called West Germany, back then. I married while in Germany and upon returning to the US, we bought a home in New Albany, IN. I went to work for A. T. & T. Long Lines in Louisville, KY. I will not go into all my moving after that, but I stayed in Telecommunications until I retired from Bell Labs, in 1992, in NJ. Regressing, I attended IUS and got a BS degree in Bus in 1977. In my first marriage I had three boys and in the second I had a girl and a boy. All attended college and all but one of the boys did graduate, however he became an automotive engineer and actually didn't need it. My daughter has three Masters Degrees and is working on her PhD in Archelogy, in Japan, at this writing. Life has been great despite some bumps in the road along the way; never, ever a dull moment. I dabble in Genealogy, online Gaming (WOW, Elite Dangerous), work on my cars and do some Photography, from time to time. I own a home in NJ and that also consumes a bit of my time. I am blessed with above average health and I try to take good care of myself.
