I've been doing genealogy since 1978. Collected
enough information about my husband's family to write a book. Then had a Crowley reunion and met
many relatives.
After a hiatus of many years and deaths of my relatives in Idaho, I decided to write a book about the Smith family of Weiser Flat and included my mother's family--Hawkey, Schaubel etc. That book was
finished in 2012. I had much help from my first cousins--they supplied pictures and information and stories.
I got interested in my Hawkey/Cole ancestors after finding Mike Hawkey and the FindaGrave site. I added Ancestry to the mix and am just enjoying myself at the computer.
