Autumn 2014 began research into Finnish ancestry after learning about a genetic mutation in the family. Did a road trip to Michigan's UP in August 2015 with husband to document the Keweenaw Bay Cemetery.

Started looking into German relatives & their history in 2016 taking pictures in Holcombe WI over Labor Day weekend. Spent a summer 2017 morning in New Ulm MN at their huge burial grounds.

For his forebears, when my mother-in-law moved, we obtained a collection of photos going back to the 1920s. An attempt to identify the people in them has kept both of us busy!

More recently, I adopted several members of the 'sauna belt' originally entered by Paul Wilcox. Closer kinfolk, please request a transfer.

I'm an amateur violinist who was also employed as a pharmacist, resulting in my public name.
