Bio

Kimberly Charisse Palmer Albin is the wife to Randy Edward Albin of Walker and the proud mother of Devyn Edward Albin and Alexandra "Ali" Elizabeth Albin. She is the daughter of Glenn and Joyce Palmer of Walker, the granddaughter of Sam and Lanzy Palmer and Percy and Edith May. She is the sister to Lisa Michelle Palmer Bonaventure and Bryan Glenn Palmer.

Kimberly is a Christian and a member of Live Oak Baptist Church. She is a 1992 graduate of Walker High School. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in English Education in 1997 from Southeastern Louisiana University, as well as her Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision in 2007, and her Plus 30 in 2011.

Beginning her teaching career at Denham Springs High School in 1997, she moved to Denham Springs Freshman High School when it opened in 1998 and continued to teach English. She became the Assistant Principal of Curriculum & Instruction in 2007. Kim moved back to DSHS in 2009 as the Assistant Principal of Curriculum & Instruction. In 2014, she became the Director at the Livingston Parish Literacy and Technology Center.
