I have been doing Genealogy research since the early 1980's (before computers) on both mine and my wife's families. I have done the research on my Revolutionary Ancestors and belong to the SAR. I find the research very interesting and challenging. I am currently working on identifying and researching the family histories of the Civil War Veterans in the Dallas, Oregon Cemetery. Currently, I have found 37 veterans and am completing and up dating their Find A Grave information. If you have a Civil War Veteran that is buried in the Dallas cemetery, please send me an email so I can be sure I have include them in my research. My information will be turned over to the Polk County Historical Society when completed.
