I am fairly new to genealogy. I took a non-credit class a year ago and it sparked some interest! Since then I have helped someone extensively with his family tree and began on my family tree too. Although it can be frustrating finding surnames misspelled and other information 'slightly' off--or running into brick walls--I still enjoy it immensely to do this research, in my spare time.
