I was born in Nowata County, Nowata, Oklahoma. I love family history & genealogy. I am a descendant of Isaac Thomas of Sevier County Tennessee he is my 5th or 6th Maternal Great Grandfather. I am trying to prove my family's Native American Heritage on my maternal side once and for all. There are many conflicting stories out there on Isaac Thomas and I would like to wade through it and put it to bed. I am also a registered Cherokee Tribal Member on my father's side. On my paternal side I am a descendant of George Parris aka Indian George son of Richard Pearis, Indian Trader.
