I work as a Preservation/Conservation volunteer at the Maryland State Archives. I am happy to help people in their search for records there when possible. I am very conscientious about only providing information that I can back up with provable sources.

I live just a couple of miles from Lakemont Memorial Gardens. When I fulfill photo requests there, I often check to see if neighboring graves have memorials here on F-a-G and if not, add them if they are at least 10 years old. If any of those people I add are ancestors of yours and you would like control of the memorial, or want me to take down the photo, please let me know - I do this to help friends and family of the deceased, not to cause them any distress!
