Native Floridian! Retired from UGA in 2007 (29 yrs); I live in Athens, Ga. Married Bob Walser on September 28, 1968. We have two daughters, 7 grandchildren, 5 boys - 2 girls. We love to travel, snow ski, and attend UGA sporting Events.
I spent the first 20 years of my life in Youngstown, Florida, outside of Panama City, Florida. Since then, we have lived in P. C., Fl, Key West Fl, Fulda & Neubruke, Germany (6 years- 2 tours of duty), Calumet, Michigan, Columbus, Ga., and now Athens, Ga.
- Married Roy Simons from Yuma, Colorado, in 1965. He died of cancer in 1967. I married Robert Alan (Bob) Walser in 1968 (he was a high school beau). We spent 20 years hopping around the world with the Air Force and finally hung our hats in Athens, Georgia. Bob retired from the Air Force in 1984 and retired from UGA in January 2007. I retired in July of 2007 from UGA (29 years), where I was the Director of Academic Special Programs.
Our favorite pastime is our family, Georgia Bulldog Sports, snow skiing, traveling every chance we get, and Family Genealogy.
