My family has been residing in Southeastern Indiana, Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky since the early 1800's. My paternal pioneer family encompasses the Yerkes, and Ferry families. My maternal family encompasses the Weil, Frech, and Koch families.
I have been actively involved in genealogical research since pre-internet days, i.e. making photo copies and writing info. in notebooks and then scribing them onto family data sheets. Then came the internet where so much/many more tools became available. I current subscribe to Ancestry.Com, and have taken their autosomal DNA test. I also actively use Familysearch.org. I have met many "cousins" and found many interesting story lines about my combined heritage, although I am still looking for many choice tidbits to help fill in the blanks.
