My interest in Find A Grave began while researching burial sites of ancestors. I was astonished by information I discovered about unknown family members that allowed me to expand my genealogy research. This lead to documenting local cemeteries that are deteriorating before this community history is lost. By doing so I hope others looking for their roots will benefit as I have by the effort of contributors to this website. This journey has recently led to involvement in cemetery restoration and becoming a local cemetery commissioner.
