I grew up in Plainview, Texas but have lived in Amarillo since 1983.

My paternal grandparents immigrated from Beirut, Lebanon (Malouf and Aramouny) in the 1920's and took residence in Garza County, Texas. They had five children and 17 grandchildren.

My maternal grandparents originated from Hillsboro, Texas (Ferguson and Barnett) and Garza County (Howard). They had seven grandchildren.

I have become very interested in my family heritage. A great deal of my family is buried in the Terrace Cemetery in Post, Texas. I try to visit there at least once a year to check on the graves.
