My name is Cody Christensen. I grew up in Preston, Idaho, attended Utah State University, and I took a job teaching at C.O. Bastian High School in Caliente, NV.

I love Caliente. I've lived here since 2002. As of this writing I am on the Caliente City Council and the principal at Meadow Valley Middle School in Panaca, NV. I have discovered that some of the best people in the world live right here in Lincoln County.

My Son Carlin got me started on Find a Grave. He noticed that very few graves in our 4 cemeteries here in Caliente have photos, gps coordinates, and about 1/3-1/2 don't even have records recorded on FaG. So for his Eagle Scout Project he organized volunteers to photograph every headstone in 3 of the 4 cemeteries. We are working to get these photos loaded on FaG complete with GPS coordinates.

The 4 cemeteries in Caliente are, 1) The OLD Caliente City Cemetery (not listed on FaG), 2)the New Caliente City Cemetery, 3)the IOOF (Masonic or Oddfellows) Cemetery, and 4) the Conway VFW Cemetery. All of these cemeteries are located next to each other on land that was donated by the Conway family.
