Hey Everyone!! My name is Pamela LeAnn Whitley Hall. I live in Purvis, MS. My dad, John Edward Gates Whitley, just recently passed away on Sept 3, 2014. Since his passing, I have decide to research his father Edward Parker Gates and his family to see if I could find out what they look like and where we came from. I never thought I would come across so much information. I thank everyone for their hard work and time. My dad John Edward Gates Whitley was adopted by his step father that is why we all have the last name Whitley. I am assuming it is because Edward Parker Gates passed away at the age of 34. I would like to find any relatives or friends that can give me information on Mattie L. Parker Gates.
