I was out on a hike one afternoon when I came upon a very old, small burial site, fenced in, but clearly abandoned. There are so many of them around, and they have always tugged on my heart strings. Since then, I have been learning about my own ancestry (I was adopted at birth), and I find myself very intrigued by genealogy, history, ancestry, etc.
